SAS Business Rules Manager enables you to turn off rule-fired collection by specifying rulefire=N. You can use this parameter in your SAS ® Data Integration Studio jobs whenever you do not need to record which rules have fired. However, turning off collection of this information does not provide the expected improvement in performance. The unexpected lag is because SAS Business Rules Manager erroneously continues to collect information about which rules fire, despite the parameter setting.
